What IELTS score do you need for Arden University?

Arden accepts Standard XII English at 70% from CBSE or CISCE only, with official marksheets and the details needed to verify them, such as a DigiLocker QR code and roll number. State board results are not on the list.

A medium of instruction letter works for a bachelor's or master's degree awarded by an Arden-approved university in India, or a recognised university in Nigeria or Ghana, within five years. The letter must come from the registrar or a similar central office; letters from course leaders, heads of department or affiliated colleges are not accepted. Selected Nepal universities and Philippine degrees have their own MOI rules. A degree taught in English at UK bachelor's level or above also meets the requirement.

Online courses can ask for more. The MSc Applied AI and Machine Learning page asks online learners for IELTS 6.5 with no element below 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 90, and blended learners in the UK or full-time students in Berlin for IELTS 6.0 with 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 60–78. If you need a visa to study in the UK, the same page asks for IELTS 6.0 with 5.5 or an equivalent SELT.

For a Student visa, UK Visas and Immigration asks for English at CEFR B2 for degree-level study and B1 below degree level, per gov.uk. At degree level, gov.uk adds, your university can assess your English itself and may ask you to take a different test.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Arden programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
