Boots questions with sample answers

1

Do you often wear boots?

Not every day, to be honest, but I do wear them quite a bit during the winter months. Whenever it rains heavily or snows, I usually put on a sturdy pair of leather boots to keep my feet dry and warm on my commute.

2

What kind of boots do you prefer to wear?

I tend to go for ankle boots made of dark leather. They're really versatile because they look smart enough for the office, but they're also comfortable enough if I have to walk across town to meet friends at the weekend.

3

Did you wear boots when you were a child?

Yes, definitely. I grew up in a fairly rainy part of the countryside, so my parents always made me wear rubber wellies whenever we went outdoors. I used to love jumping straight into muddy puddles with them.

4

Do you prefer wearing boots or trainers?

It depends on the weather, really. On mild days, I definitely lean towards trainers because they're lightweight and casual. However, if it's freezing outside or pouring with rain, boots are definitely the more practical choice for me.

5

Would you buy an expensive pair of boots in the future?

I think I might, actually. If they're durable and properly waterproof, I don't mind spending a bit more. I'd rather invest in one well-made pair of hiking boots that lasts for years than buy cheap ones every winter.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.
