Car parks questions with sample answers

1

Do you often use car parks?

Quite regularly, to be honest. I drive to a large supermarket at the edge of my town once or twice a week, and they have a massive multi-storey car park. It's really convenient because it saves me having to drive around looking for on-street parking.

2

Is it easy to find a parking space in your local area?

Not really, especially at weekends. The streets around my flat are usually packed with vehicles, so finding a vacant spot can be a bit of a nightmare. Sometimes you have to circle the block three or four times before someone pulls out.

3

Do you prefer indoor or outdoor car parks?

I definitely lean towards indoor ones, particularly multi-storey facilities. They keep the vehicle sheltered from heavy rain or blazing sunshine, which is a massive plus. The only downside is that the spaces can be quite tight, so manoeuvring can get tricky.

4

Have you ever had any problems in a car park?

Yes, actually. A few months ago, I completely forgot which level I'd left my vehicle on in a shopping centre basement. I spent nearly twenty minutes wandering around before I spotted it near a pillar. It was rather embarrassing, but quite funny in hindsight.

5

Do you think there should be more car parks in town centres?

I'm not convinced we need more, to be fair. Building extra spaces often just encourages more traffic and congestion in central areas. I suppose it would be much wiser to invest in reliable public transport like trams or buses so people don't rely on driving so much.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.
