Colours questions with sample answers

1

What's your favourite colour?

I have always been drawn to deep forest green. It feels incredibly calming and reminds me of being outdoors in nature. I find that wearing it or having it in my living space creates a very serene atmosphere, which helps me unwind after a hectic day.

2

Do you like the same colours now as you did when you were younger?

Actually, my preferences have shifted quite a bit over the years. As a child, I was obsessed with bright, vibrant shades like neon yellow, but my taste has matured since then. Nowadays, I much prefer sophisticated, muted tones that are easier on the eyes.

3

What can you learn about a person from the colours they like?

People often assume that someone’s colour palette reflects their personality traits. For instance, those who gravitate towards warm tones are frequently perceived as outgoing and energetic. While it is not a scientific rule, it is certainly an interesting way to make initial assumptions about someone's temperament.

4

Do any colours have a special meaning in your culture?

In my culture, red is considered an auspicious colour, especially during celebrations like weddings or festivals. It symbolises prosperity and good fortune, so you will often see it prominently displayed during significant life events to bring luck and ward off any negative energy.
