Donations questions with sample answers

1

Have you ever given money or items to charity?

Yes, definitely. I try to clear out my wardrobe twice a year and drop off bags of unwanted clothes at a local charity shop near my flat. Every so often, I also give a few coins to street collectors collecting for animal shelters.

2

What kind of donations do you think are most helpful?

In my view, regular cash donations probably make the biggest difference because organisations can direct the funds wherever they are needed most. Having said that, donating practical supplies like tinned food to food banks is also incredibly valuable for local communities.

3

Did you ever take part in charity events when you were younger?

Yes, I remember taking part in a sponsored run at primary school. We had to collect pledges from family members and run laps around the school field. It was quite exhausting, but we managed to raise a decent sum for a children's hospital.

4

Do you prefer donating money or giving your time?

To be honest, at the moment I usually donate money simply because my work schedule is quite hectic. I'd love to volunteer in person, perhaps at an elderly care home, but setting aside a whole afternoon is a bit tricky right now.

5

Would you like to do more charity work in the future?

Absolutely. Once my career settles down a bit, I'd really like to get involved in environmental causes, maybe helping with local beach clean-ups or planting trees. Giving back to the community is something I definitely want to prioritise down the line.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.
