Piercings questions with sample answers

1

Do you have any piercings?

Yes, I've got my ears pierced, just the standard single hole in each lobe. I actually had them done when I was about twelve years old as a birthday treat from my parents, and I still wear small silver studs almost every single day.

2

Did you wear earrings or jewellery when you were younger?

Not really, apart from those basic studs I just mentioned. My secondary school had quite strict rules about jewellery and appearance, so we were only permitted plain studs, nothing dangling or flashy. Most of the time, I didn't even bother putting anything on.

3

Are piercings popular among young people in your country?

Definitely, they're extremely fashionable at the moment. It used to be just earlobes, but nowadays lots of teenagers and university students go for nose rings or cartilage piercings. It’s seen as a common way to express your individuality and personal style.

4

What do you think about people who have multiple piercings?

To be honest, I think it looks quite cool if it suits their general aesthetic. Some people can really pull off facial piercings or stacked ear piercings. As long as it's done safely in a proper parlour, I've got no issue with it whatsoever.

5

Would you consider getting another piercing in the future?

I don't think so, really. I toyed with the idea of getting my helix pierced a couple of years ago, but I’m a bit of a coward when it comes to needles and healing times. I reckon I'll just stick with what I have.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.
