Punctuality questions with sample answers

1

Do you think it's important to be on time?

Absolutely, as it demonstrates respect for other people's schedules. In my view, being punctual is a fundamental professional trait that signals reliability. If everyone prioritised timeliness, the world would certainly function with far greater efficiency and less unnecessary stress for those waiting.

2

How do you Feel When others are late?

Honestly, it can be quite frustrating, especially when I have a busy day ahead. I find that repeated tardiness reflects a lack of consideration for my time. That said, I try to remain patient if there is a genuinely valid reason, like heavy traffic.

3

Are you, Yourself, Late Very Often?

I make a concerted effort to be punctual, so I rarely find myself running behind schedule. I usually build extra time into my commute to account for any unexpected delays. Being habitually late is a habit I have managed to avoid throughout my adult life.

4

How do you feel when you are late?

It makes me feel incredibly anxious and flustered. I hate the feeling of rushing through the door when others are already settled, as it feels disruptive. Whenever it does happen, I always make sure to send a quick message to apologise for the inconvenience.

5

How do you think you could be on time improve and more often?

I could improve by preparing my belongings the night before to avoid last-minute panic. Additionally, setting multiple alarms helps me manage my morning routine more effectively. Developing the discipline to leave the house five minutes earlier than necessary would likely eliminate most of my timing issues.

6

Do you Wear a Watch?

I actually prefer using my smartphone to check the time rather than wearing a traditional watch. It serves as my primary clock and calendar, keeping me organised throughout the day. While I appreciate the aesthetic of a classic timepiece, my phone is far more practical for me.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.
