Methane Pyrolysis for Turquoise Hydrogen

Look at the text below. You have 30–40 seconds to prepare, then read it aloud as naturally and clearly as you can after the tone.

Methane pyrolysis offers an alternative pathway for clean fuel generation by splitting natural gas at high temperatures. Because this thermal reaction produces solid carbon rather than gaseous carbon dioxide, it avoids direct atmospheric emissions, provided that the operational heat derives entirely from renewable sources.

2

Ammonia as a Hydrogen Carrier

Converting hydrogen into ammonia facilitates long distance maritime transport because ammonia liquefies under relatively moderate pressures. Although subsequent cracking is required to recover the pure gas, existing chemical shipping networks already provide the necessary global infrastructure for bulk distribution.

3

Geological Underground Hydrogen Storage

Large subterranean salt caverns provide sealed environments suitable for balancing seasonal energy demands. Since hydrogen molecules are exceptionally small and escape through porous rock, impermeable geological formations ensure minimal leakage during extended periods of containment across major regional grids.

4

Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carriers

Liquid organic carriers bind hydrogen chemically into stable aromatic compounds, allowing standard oil tankers to transport the fuel safely. While releasing the bonded gas requires considerable thermal energy at the final destination, the process eliminates the severe cooling requirements of cryogenic storage.
