PTE for Australian skilled migration
The Department of Home Affairs accepts PTE Academic for the same three English levels used for skilled migration. For tests taken on or after 7 August 2025 each level is defined by a separate minimum in listening, reading, writing and speaking, replacing the old single score (50 / 65 / 79). Guides that still quote one number are out of date.
