Seasons questions with sample answers

1

What is your favourite season?

Autumn is definitely my preferred time of year. I love the crisp atmosphere and the way the foliage turns vibrant shades of orange and gold. It is the perfect weather for long walks in the park without the sweltering heat of summer or the biting cold of winter.

2

How do the clothes people wear in your country change with the seasons?

Well, people tend to adapt their wardrobes quite drastically to cope with the shifting temperatures. During the freezing winter months, everyone bundles up in heavy woollen coats and scarves, whereas in the height of summer, the focus shifts entirely to breathable fabrics like linen to stay comfortable.

3

Do any types of jobs people do in your country change with the seasons?

Seasonal employment is quite significant, particularly in the agricultural sector. Many labourers migrate to different regions to help with the fruit harvest during the autumn months. Additionally, the hospitality industry sees a massive surge in temporary roles during the peak summer holiday period to cater to the crowds.

4

Is tourism popular in a particular season in your country?

Summer is undeniably the peak season for visitors, as the warmer weather encourages outdoor activities and beach excursions. Many coastal towns experience a massive influx of tourists throughout July and August, which brings a lively, energetic atmosphere to areas that are otherwise quite sleepy during the colder months.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.
